This line follows the line about “Loveliness extreme.” which allows the poem to follow along with the theme of giving in to impulses. This line is implying possibly a tasting of the sweetest of ice-cream, when regular ice-cream would already be sweet enough. The normal pleasures of life are not quite enough for this poet.
